Caanoo’s G-Sensor is shown off

Tony Han is busy at work on Facebook and has uploaded another video. He’s showing off the Caanoo’s boot up time and its ‘G-Sensor’. I timed the boot up to be around the 11sec mark, which would put the Caanoo above GPH’s other consoles in terms of start up time. Hoorah. The G-Sensor (accelerometer) is shown being used in a MAME game, of all things. It is simply mapped to the left-right movement of the Out Run car, which actually seems to work rather well. Most people will prefer the precision of the analog stick, but this still seems fun to play around with. What the video also tells us is that MAME4ALL is already ported and running at a nice speed.

Tony reminds people that he is open to video requests. Got something you want to see? Ask him on the Facebook Page.
