Right now in South Korea GPH are launching a game package which comes with two commercial games  (Propis, Deicide 3) and five emulated arcade games (Snow Bros 2, Twin Cobra, Out Zone, Demon’s World, Zero Wing). The package is provided in the form of a 2GB ND card, some sort of DRM’d SD card, which requires the user’s Wiz to be running the latest firmware version.

The good news is that they are also planning to release an international version of this package priced at approximately 17€ / $24. Not much is known about the languages that will be available except that English will definitely be provided.

It’s now possible to purchase a replacement battery or USB cable for the Wiz from EvilDragon’s shop over at gp2x.de.

I’m currently in the throes of writing a major review of the Wiz console, but during my research, I found this little gem. It’s probably quite old, and I’m sure a lot of people have seen it, but here it is after the break for those that haven’t.

Thanks to andYManOne and GPH we now have a functional TV-Out solution for the Wiz! Within this solution you’ll find a how to guide for building a TV-Out cable and an application to get the Wiz into TV-Out mode.

Since the last version of Win2x reported on here chp has released a deluge of updates to replacement graphical frontend for the Wiz and the newest release is now version 2.1!  Read the full post to see the change list for it.
